Hi! My name is Tim Irwin -

Raised in Minnesota, shaped by long winters, rural working-class farm towns, untamed wilderness & wide open prairies. I now live and work in North Carolina, carrying those early influences with me while exploring the state of N.C. and the abundant beauty it has to offer.

I’m a USAF Veteran and a self-taught photographer, molded by years of discipline, evolution, and paying attention to detail. My work is drawn to real places and real people — moments that feel weathered, understated, and honest. I’m interested in atmosphere, texture, and the spaces where stories exist, if you just take the time to look for them.

Whether photographing landscapes, portraits, branding, or personal work, my approach stays the same: slow down, observe, and let the image stand on its own.
